The Nice Cup
The Nice Cup was designed as part of a University of Canterbury Recycle and Re-design assignment / competition. Our group was tasked with developing a product utilising recycled HDPE (high-density polyethylene). After exploring a broad range of potential products we developed the Nice Cup, a recycled HDPE keep cup.

This was developed to directly recycle milk bottles utilised in coffee making and repurposing them into durable keep cups that feature a double-walled glass inner for thermal insulation and drinking comfort.

Our team ended up winning the Recycle Redesign dragon's den style pitch competition, and were awarded a cash prize aimed at further development and commercialisation of this product.

Developed with Kent Davidson and Will Burning.
