Pete Howard aka Sole is a multi-dimensional artist and designer who works across a range of disciplines, incorporating a modernist Pacific fusion style. With a passion for design-based thinking and entrepreneurship, his aim is to beautify our world through designs and solutions that beautify our environment, while delivering delightful, innovative solutions.
Originally a stencil / street artist who produces work under the alias Sole, his work has evolved to incorporate everything from branding, logos, and promotional material, to interior and product design, alongside hand-crafted artworks, jewellery, and furniture.
With a strong background in community and economic development, alongside social entrepreneurship, Pete is as much a designer/artist as he is a design-thinker and social entrepreneur who is passionate about social impact and organisational development.
Pete has a strong focus on understanding user needs and desires, while uncovering solutions to wicked problems. Bringing a balance between both creative and commercial implementation, with a sound understanding of both design, innovation and entrepreneurship methodologies.
